POOLS
All professional divisions are in the A pool. This pool will be limited to 72 players. Professionals will be playing for cash with a minimum of $750 added to the overall purse.
All amateur divisions are in the B pool. This pool will be limited to 72 players. Amateur players will receive a player's pack with 3 discs and will be playing for Scrip which can be redeemed at Buxton Woods.
DIVISIONS
A minimum of 3 players is required to form a division. Tournament Director reserves the right to combine smaller divisions.
WITHDRAWALS
We will be STRICTLY following the PDGA Withdrawal Policy found here: https://www.pdga.com/rules/competition-manual/103
WAITING LIST
If your pool is sold out, you MUST USE THE EMAIL THE TD LINK (the envelope) on the left side of this page and send an email with your name, your PDGA # and the division you wish to play. The waiting list will be built on a first-come, first-served basis based on the timestamp of the emails received. We reserve the right to fill divisions out of order to balance them out.
SCHEDULE
TENTATIVELY:
Pros will play two shotgun start rounds on Saturday with a 3.5 hour break in between. Pros will play a tee time round with tee times starting in the early afternoon on Sunday.
Ams will play one shotgun start round on Saturday around 12pm. Ams will play a tee time round with tee times starting in the morning on Sunday.
LUNCH
Saturday will be TBD.
Sunday will be TBD.
PARKING
Parking is going to be an issue at Buxton as there will be a lot of people on site. Of course, we GREATLY encourage you to carpool so that this helps.
We will also have an on-site parking attendant who will be directing you where to park… and if need be, how to park. We are going to need to pack you all in tight… and there will be overflow parking along John Lee Rd.
Carpooling is for winners, though…
CAMPING AND HOTELS
Due to Covid, there will be no camping this year. Campsites (tents) are still available just up the road at LL Stub Stewart State Park as of 2/4/22. There are small first-come, first-served campgrounds west of Banks - starting at a 33 minute drive-time from the course (Gales Creek), 40 minutes (Elk Creek) and more on Highway 6.
Hotels are available in Hillsboro and Beaverton.
OREGON SERIES - FINANCIAL DISCLOSURE
These divisions - MPO, FPO, MP40, MA1, FA1, MA40 and MA2 - will have $2 from their entry fee set aside for the Oregon Series. More information about the Oregon Series can be found here:
